MEMORIALS TO VICTIMS OF THE TWO-DECADE WAR IN NORTHERN UGANDA

Birabi

Oh my God!

In a separate but related testimony, another woman escaped the Barlonyo midnight Massacre. She escaped with nothing, not even any cloths against the equally treacherous cold of that lonesome night.

Worst still, her entire family of a husband and five children were wiped out by the attackers.

It is now dawn. Alone and sobbing  in the bushes of Barlonyo, she has only around her neck a cross to cling to.
